BILLING SPECIALIST WANTED IN ST. LOUIS OR BELLEVILLE

JOB DESCRIPTION
HTE Rental Services is hiring a Billing Specialist in the St. Louis, Missouri area.

JOB OPPORTUNITY:

As our Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for the accuracy of the billing data related to our industrial rental contracts. You will review purchase orders, match paperwork, track missing data, and enter information in our rental equipment software. Work closely with our service technicians and sales representatives to ensure rental contracts are invoiced accurately. Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, your ability to understand, process and communicate rental information is critical to our company’s success.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Communicate and collaborate with internal teams and customers regarding rental contracts.
Collect, verify, and enter all data needed for accurate billing of rental contracts.
Ensure customer’s insurance certificates and coverage are up to date and verify tax status.
Follow defined procedures to ensure accurate billing data within our rental equipment software.
Perform other financial/accounting/operational projects as needed including receivables, collections, payables, and purchasing of routine inventory.

SUCCESS FACTORS:
2+ years of related billing experience, preferably in the rental industry.
Detailed-oriented with ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies in rental contracts.
Ability to work effectively with a sense of urgency as a client need arises.
Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Prefer experience with RentalMan, Intempo or other rental equipment software.
Computer savvy, with knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Proven success at building rapport and communicating effectively.
Self-initiative with motivation to succeed.
Effective time management, organizing, planning, and executing.
